Dog is laying in kennel upon approach and is stressed with a tense and trembling body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. She retreats into bed as handler enters kennel with same body language while maintaining direct eye contact. When leashing she pulls her head back slightly with same body language and is easy to leash where she does not move from position. She is easy to prompt out of kennel utilizing blanket where she rushes out of kennel, pulling at end of leash. She walks slowly on leash with a tense, slinking body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail and is seemingly house trained. She is fearful when walking past barking dogs by flinching as they bark with same body language. She displays sociability with all handlers by allowing them to pet her where she maintains space with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. She is easy to walk back to kennel by walking behind her where she is fearful and looks back at me over her shoulder with same body language. She freezes on leash as we get closer to kennel and is easy to pick up and carry back to kennel utilizing safe handling techniques.

07/28/2026 Play Group: Dog retreats with a tucked tail upon first approach. She is able to be leashed and slowly walked outside with a tucked tail. She initially walked into the yard slowly with a tucked tail and tense body. She adjusted by greeting both male and female dogs observed with appropriately and coexisting with a loose body and a low tail. She is most interested in standing near the fence line watching passing handlers. She is easy to return to her kennel. Vet Exam Notes:
