Senior Sage is heartworm positive, a treatable condition. She is also being treated for an upper respiratory infection (suspected CIRD) after developing sneezing and green nasal discharge. Sage is receiving Doxycycline 200 mg once daily for 10 days. She has been vaccinated, dewormed, and received parasite prevention.

🐾Behavior Notes:
Sage is a quiet, gentle senior with a soft, loving nature. Though timid when first approached, her tail never stops wagging for long. She walks with a loose leash, occasionally hesitating at unfamiliar spots, but responds beautifully to baby talk, gentle encouragement, and treats, gaining confidence and even a little pep in her step.
She is very sweet, affectionate, and laid-back. She enjoys leisurely sniffing walks, carefully searching for treats, and is content to curl up on her cozy bed for peaceful naps.
