📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
8/1/2026: Pearl greets people at the front of her kennel with a loose, wiggly body. She is very sweet, walks well on a loose leash, and responds well to baby talk.
🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
7/30/2026: Intake condition minor injury. Weighed 37.0 lbs. Right hind limb severely swollen, non-weight bearing, and with increased laxity. Suspected right hind limb fracture. Given buprenorphine injection on intake, prescribed Carprofen 75 mg SID for 10 days and Buprenorphine injections twice daily for 3 days. Vaccinated (DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies), dewormed with Pyrantel, treated with Advantage Multi, and Heartworm test: Negative. Sedated for handling.
7/31/2026: Sedated for pelvic and right hind limb radiographs. X-rays showed a comminuted mid-right femur fracture. Started Gabapentin 100 mg twice daily. Record notes that she needs radiologist review and orthopedic consultation.
