Outside, she retreats away from handlers, laying in grass with same body language. She is easy to pick up and allows handling where she squirms in my arms with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. Returning to kennel, she continues to retreat away from handlers, hiding under equipment in yard with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. She is picked up and carried back to kennel.
08/01/2026 Play Group: 1 of 3 in kennel Dog is fearful upon approach with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. She is easy to leash, pick up and carry outside. Outside, she retreats away from handlers moving under the agility equipment. She allows male and female dogs to greet her where she is not interested to move and stays there for the duration of play group with tucked ears, tense body, and wide eyes. She is carried back to kennel.
08/03/2026 1 of 3 in kennel Dog continues fearful behavior in the kennel. After spending time sitting in the kennel, she comes over to me first out of her kennel mate and takes treats gently by hand. She flinches and retreats at any movement or noise in the kennel where she continues to come back over for treats. Behavior possibly due to undersocialization.
