07/31/2026 1 of 2 in kennel Dog is laying down in kennel upon approach with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. He growls at leash and/or handler as leash is presented to him through barrier with same body language. He remains in position as I enter kennel and is interested in high value treats offered on ground. He is able to be leashed and is not interested in exiting kennel where he is able to be prompted. He freezes while on leash and communicates for space with a tense body, wide side eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. He is given space.
08/03/2026 1 of 2 in kennel Dog continues reactive behavior with all handlers. He is attempted to be leashed again and a safety tools is utilized to remove it. Spending time with him, he is able to come over and take high value treats gently by hand through the barrier. Slowly opening the kennel door partially, he is able to come over and sniff me as I kneel. He growls at any of my movement with a tense body, 1 paw raised at times, and sclera visible. I am able to slowly shut the door where he steps back and he slowly comes back over for continued treats through the barrier.
