This sweet boy was found abandoned in a cage in front of the old Hartz Chicken location, where he had reportedly been left for several days with only some food, water, and a blanket.

After everything he's been through, it's no surprise that this pup is frightened and unsure of people.
Baby talk and patience helped him relax enough to approach for a sniff, and he quietly walked on leash with a tucked tail. He is very timid, flinches with handling, and avoids eye contact. With gentle reassurance, he has already shown that he wants to trust.
