07/13/2026 Actively nursing litter - limited evaluation at this time Dog displayed sociability by coming over for affection with a low wagging tail, tucked ears, and loose body. She is able to be leashed and walked outside. She was nervous going through doorways slowly and followed handler holding her pups into kennel. Did not view guarding nor barrier reactivity at this time.

07/14/2026 Actively nursing litter - no dog/dog interaction nor outside observation at this time. Dog is laying down nursing pup upon approach with a relaxed body. She displays sociability as I call out to her by lifting her head in a greeting with a loose body, wide eyes, slightly pinned ears and a low wagging tail. She is interested in treats offered to her and is seemingly conflicted to interact by inching toward me while looking back at pups over her shoulder with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears, appeasement grimace and a tucked tail. As I extend my hand toward her to offer treats, she displays mild guarding by freezing with a tense body, wide eyes with dilated pupils, pinned ears and a stiff tail. I remove my hand and she is able to adjust where she displays sociability by coming closer for continue treats with a loose body, lowered head, pinned ears and a low wagging tail. No barrier reactivity, observed at this time. Guarding of the litter possible. Vet Exam Notes:
