🩺 MEDICAL NOTES:
Tania arrived with generalized thinning hair/dermatitis. A skin scrape showed no findings (NSF), and she was given NexGard Plus.
👁️ Both eyes were red with mucoid discharge, consistent with conjunctivitis. She is being treated with Terramycin in both eyes twice daily for 10 days.
She is HEARTWORM HIGH POSITIVE and has received DA2PP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccines, deworming, Pyrantel and Advantage Multi.

🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES:
Tania is an extremely timid and frightened girl who appears to be shutting down in the shelter.
She has a tense body, tucked tail, lowered head, whale eyes and avoids eye contact. When leashed, she has simply laid on the floor rather than walking. Staff have been able to pick her up and carry her between kennels.
Her kennel has remained clean, and staff have tried to minimize unnecessary handling to reduce her stress.
This poor girl isn't asking for attention ' right now, she's simply trying to disappear.
