More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 12, 2026. Heath A573122 Step right up and meet HEATH'my current favorite boy at the shelter! If you're looking for a strong, athletic, toy-loving guy with personality for days, Heath would like to introduce himself! Toy connoisseur: Heath's philosophy is simple: If there is a toy, it belongs in my mouth. His absolute favorite activity is seeing how many toys he can carry at once. He loves tug, herding balls, squeaky toys, and pretty much ANYTHING you put in front of him. Professional tug player: Heath will happily bring you a toy because obviously you need to participate in his very important tug-of-war tournament. He gets super excited and may enthusiastically grab for the toy, so keep those fingers out of the way when playtime gets serious! Dog-friendly vibes: Heath did well meeting another dog. He was playful but was also perfectly happy to sniff around and walk together. As always, slow introductions are the way to go when meeting a potential new dog friend. Adventure buddy: This strong and athletic guy walks well on leash and went potty several times outside. Once he's out of his kennel, he's ready to GO GO GO! Treat-approved: Heath did well with his food test and is a friendly, fun-loving guy. He is excited about treats! Big energy, big personality: Heath can show some stress and anxiety in his kennel, but once he's out, his personality really starts to shine. He did show some possible frustration with leash biting one time, so he'll benefit from continued guidance, enrichment, exercise, and positive outlets for all that energy. His dream home: An active family who wants a fun, energetic companion and can give him plenty of exercise, playtime, training, and mental stimulation would probably be right up Heath's alley!
