🩺 MEDICAL NOTES:
Earmuff is heartworm negative.
Staff have also repeatedly questioned whether Earmuff may be deaf or hearing impaired. On multiple occasions she did not respond to voices, knocking or treats being dropped near her while sleeping and had to be touched to wake up. Once awake, she was happy and wiggly.
On 9/21, she developed cloudy nasal discharge, sneezing and a hoarse-sounding bark consistent with CIRD/URI. She was moved to treatment and prescribed doxycycline 200 mg once daily for 10 days.

🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES:
Earmuff is described as very sweet, happy and wiggly with people. She has walked on a loose leash and gently taken treats from staff.
The kennel environment appears stressful for her. She has been vocal, pacing, panting and at times salivating while barking. Outside of her kennel, staff have observed a much more relaxed dog.
