strike

Intake Info: We have three beautiful dogs ' Moon A2343949, Strike A2343948 and Madam Leche A2343950' who were taken from the owner's property when they were arrested. The officer felt that the living conditions were insufficient for the wellbeing of the dogs and so they were transported to PBCACC for medical evaluation.
Medical:
Moon: Unneutered male. Currently receiving treatment for CIRD (PCR positive for Mycoplasma and Pneumovirus) and is heartworm positive. He has a broken right upper canine and dental tartar. While he is a sweet boy, he is a bit shy and apprehensive, though he is very easy to work with. Strike: Unneutered male. Currently receiving treatment for CIRD (PCR positive for Adenovirus, Coronavirus, Mycoplasma, and Pneumovirus). He is heartworm negative and is currently healing from minor wounds on his left ear and front legs, as well as some broken nails. Madam Leche: Unspayed female. Heartworm negative. PCR positive for Adenovirus, Coronavirus, Mycoplasma, and Pneumovirus. She is a very friendly, active girl who is easy to handle and would benefit from some basic leash training.
Behavioral Observations: Moon: A calm, gentle soul. He is responsive to redirection and has a sweet temperament. In social settings, he is friendly and engages in appropriate \"push-pull\" play. He is a bit shy initially but warms up quickly. Strike: High-energy and incredibly social. He is an enthusiastic playmate who immediately engages in play bows and social interaction with other dogs. He is very friendly and loves the company of his peers. Madam Leche: A joyful and friendly dog. She is responsive to redirection and highly social. She loves greeting other dogs and engages readily in social play. She is a pleasure to handle and brings a great energy to the group.
Volunteer Notes: Moon is a sweetheart who already knows how to sit for treats and takes them very gently. All three dogs have shown great resilience and a wonderful desire for human companionship.
Request to Rescues: We're seeking experienced rescue partners for three dogs who need stable, appropriate placement after living in conditions that did not meet their welfare needs. We're looking for a rescue able to provide ongoing care, assess each dog's needs, and identify a safe, lasting home. These pups deserve a second shot at a life where they can experience love, care and compassion in a safe environment where they can relax. If possible, we'd like to see them leave together, but it's not a requirement, so if you can help even one of the dogs, please reach out to us ASAP.
