Intake Info: Tango (A2148602) was originally picked up as a stray in July and reunited with his owner. He has now returned to our shelter, and no owner has come forward to reclaim him.
Medical: 7 years old, heartworm negative, mild arthritis, and chronic moderate bilateral ear infections. He has also had difficulty eating consistently in the shelter.
Staff Notes: Tango is a quiet, watchful boy he allowed a vet to examine him without issues. He was pleasant to handle.
Volunteer Notes: Tango enjoys exploring the yard and knows how to sit for a treat, although he may be selective with food. A volunteer was able to get him to eat JustFoodForDogs.
Behavior Notes: Tango has shown barrier frustration toward some dogs but has calmly greeted and coexisted with others. So careful dog introductions and management are recommended.
Request to Rescues: Tango is a sweet, older gentleman in need of rescue placement. He would need continued veterinary care for his arthritis and chronic ear infections, along with support for him to encourage consistent eating. This boy deserves the best comfort, care, and a loving place to call home!
