Intake Info: Jupiter A2343895 was picked up as a stray. No microchip was found.
Medical: Jupiter is estimated to be 5 years old, heartworm negative, and fully processed. She is experiencing a second case/relapse of CIRD and has a left aural hematoma. She is receiving oral treatment for the hematoma; however, her ear has continued to worsen.
Staff Notes: Jupiter tolerated her medical workup. Happy tail observed.
Volunteer Notes: Super friendly and appears to be housebroken.
Request to Rescues: Jupiter is a young, friendly dog in urgent need of rescue. She requires prolonged medical isolation for her recurring CIRD and would benefit from a more spacious environment with additional comfort and mental stimulation during recovery. Once medically cleared, she will also need sterilization and surgical repair of her aural hematoma through a private veterinarian. Jupiter deserves the opportunity to recover comfortably and receive the follow-up care she needs.
