Behavior Notes:
Knight remains tense and withdrawn in his kennel, barely moving. Staff have repeatedly had to carry him because he is hesitant to walk.
On October 20, he was carried outside, where he managed to walk around a little. But when staff approached to leash him, he immediately tensed, cowered, and had to be carried back inside.
Knight is a frightened boy who desperately needs patience, reassurance, and a safe place to decompress.
Scarface is extremely fearful and hesitant to walk. Staff describe him as tense, showing the whites of his eyes, and pulling backward on the leash.
On October 20, he became so frightened while being moved that he froze in the hallway and defecated during the stressful interaction. When staff attempted to guide him with a towel, he turned and air-snapped toward it. He also struggled slightly when further guidance was attempted.
