DAVEY came in with AMBROSE more than SIX WEEKS ago, and thankfully they've been able to stay together. 🐾 Brothers? Best friends? We don't know. But these calm boys seem to take comfort in each other.
They do NOT have to leave together ' but they certainly CAN. 💛 One home for both would be wonderful, but two separate homes still mean TWO lives saved.
DAVEY is only 2 years old, but the shelter has been overwhelming for him. 🥺 But when someone takes the time to make him feel special he comes around and responds well to treats.
💕 DAVEY needs time, kindness and a quieter place to decompress. With 400+ dogs barking around him, we would LOVE to see who this sweet boy becomes once he realizes he's finally HOME.
And that FACE! 😍 Tan eyebrows, a speckled chest and apparently DAVEY couldn't decide what his ears were doing, so he went with one of each. 😂

Harris County Animal Shelter takes in 5,000 dogs a year. These animals have been in the shelter for 15 or more days. Due to the length of stay, they are subject to humane euthanasia at any time. They are available for rescue or adoption, and in some cases foster.
