Success Story: Baxter was adopted by me, Anna Gil, in March 2009. I adopted him directly from the Tulare Animal Control Shelter. In my effort to rescue Baxter from being euthanized, I did find a no-kill shelter in Redwood City that would take him, but he would not get out of the car when we arrived at the place, so (long story short) we are still together (and he is the love and light of my life).
