Success Story: Rescued. A5167624 Leander is a stoic five-year-old fawn male Pitbull mix found tied to the gate at the Carson Animal Center on April 12. Weighing 74 lbs, this sweet boy is incredibly gentle around people, great on leash, but can be timid around noises. He is consistently easy to handle, and non-reactive, though in playgroups he is selectively social, tending to low growl at other dogs; however, he does fine with dogs with a similar calm demeanor. This gentlemanly guy would do best in a quiet home with older kids, enjoying leisurely walks around the neighborhood. Leander is an awesome pet for anyone living in a private home with a yard.
