Success Story: This big sweet dog was rescued by several people of different groups working together. Not surprisingly, he is heartworm positive and is currently (1/17/2008) being treated in Baton Rouge, thanks to Garo Alexanian's Katrina Lifeline. After a few days at the vet's he will have to be boarded until a place where he can be fostered for free is available. Then he will be transported to the North East, again with the help of Katrina Lifeline, where hopefully a good home will be found for him.
