Success Story: When one door closes, another one opens...Good thing, too. I came to the shelter months ago as a stray with Warren. It was clear, however, that we must have been abandoned because we were both housebroken and knew how to obey commands. Everyone loved us, but no one wanted to give us forever homes. Then, a rescue spotted us and tried to put together a transport to get us where we needed to be. That took weeks. When they came for us, they came without crates and a small car so we couldn't go. But then, someone in NJ saw me here on DID and fell in love. She was coming to Pittsburgh anyway and decided to come see me. When she saw me, she just had to adopt me. Then she saw Warren. She wasn't sure. But I smiled at her (they think I smile...it's really gas, but since people respond better to smiles than to gas, I let them think I smile) and she knew she couldn't take me without taking Warren too. So, we now get to experience forever love in a forever home with our forever mom. Woof!
