URGENT - A4183101 Stella a soulful older staffie in dire need of rescue/adoption BALDWIN PARK shelter 626.430.2378. When a shelter employee goes out of their way to plea for one dog among the 400 or so dogs there, I always pay attention. Stella was one such plea and the shelter employee was spot on. This girl is absolutely amazing. It has been quite a journey with her since 9/3/10 when she was taken in as a stray at the Baldwin Park Shelter(4275 North Elton, Baldwin Park, Ca 91706 Phone 626 430 2378).

When the employee first asked me to network her, she was not yet available for adoption so I had to wait. When the time came that she was available, neither myself nor another AAA volunteer were able to find this girl for three days. I was so sure she was yet another case that slipped through the cracks. To my delight, I found her alive and well!

Stella dog is truly incredible. She is probably around 7 years old and appears to be in really good health. The only condition I have seen is what looks to be a fatty tumor on her backside. She is the best of both worlds, she still has a great playful energy and is active, but what she loves most is giving kisses and laying on her back and getting belly rubs. I had her with me for 6 hours yesterday at an adoption event and she was phenomenal. She got along with absolutely every dog(even a little chi that tried to get sassy with her. She just looked at the chi and came back to my lap) and every person. Even in the heat she was still full of affection at the end of the day.

This dog would be great in a home or apartment as she is medium to low energy. She would be great with kids and dogs of all sizes. Sadly I had to put her back on the truck at the end of the day and she is still residing at Baldwin Park. We have to get this girl out. I am willing to do any fund raising and transport for this baby. Please rescue this girl, she will make a loyal and wonderful companion to anyone who opens their heart to her.

Thank you!
