About jake: A5168142 URGENT Jake is a playful 2-year-old caramel-and-white neutered male Pit Bull mix who was found as a stray on April 13th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing 56 lbs, Jake just wants to have someone to love and care for him. He really likes being with people and he passed his shelter administered temperament test, but he does not get along well with other dogs. For this reason, we recommend he be the king of his own castle. Though we don?t know much about his life before coming to the shelter, affectionate Jake seeks out human contact like a big puppy. He will need a strong and loving leader to make sure he gets the guidance he needs to be a happy dog at home. The shelter is a stressful place for Jake, he will thrive in a home of his own where he has lots of exercise, attention, and a safe indoor place to relax and enjoy the next phase of his life. He will gladly repay his person with his eternal devotion and affection.
