About diego: A5218203 Diego is an eager-to-please 7-year-old black-with-white male Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever mix who was found as a stray in Azusa and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 11th with his friend Edith [A5218201] who has already been adopted. Weighing 70 lbs, Diego is a sporty, happy fellow who greets everyone with a big smile and plenty of wiggles. He walks respectably on leash and seems to be housebroken. He absolutely loves to cuddle and will curl right up with you for a good snuggle. He is responsive to guidance and we think would be a quick study if you want to teach him additional obedience skills. Diego was relaxed around other dogs when out with our volunteers on leash, but was a little standoffish with new dogs in our shelter?s playgroups. Since he seems to have lived in a multi-dog home previously, we recommend he start out as a solo pet or with slow, structured introductions while his new guardians get to know him. Diego is an all-around great dog who will be a loyal and loving best friend. For more information on this pet, contact volunteer UHA adoption coordinator Jana at 857-998-7970 or jana@hope4animals.org.
