CARSON STAFF DESCRIPTION Amberly is an enthusiastic 6-year-old fawn-and-white female pitbull mix who came to the shelter on December 4th as a stray. She enjoys being in the company of people. She attends the gentle/dainty playgroups, where she prefers to just hang out rather than engage with other dogs, though occasionally she can be selectively social. Amberly is fairly high energy and pulls heavily on the leash as she is eager to explore her surroundings. Once she gets some energy out, Amberly is attentive and responds to basic commands. She would do well in a home with no other dogs, with kids ages 8 or older, and it is recommended that she have continued socialization. Amberly would thrive with a strong, active owner who has a private home with a yard.
