Bowzer is a fantastic 3-year-old rust-and-white neutered male Pit Bull whose former owner left him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on December 22nd due to landlord issues. Weighing 71 lbs, Bowzer is a happy, fun boy who savors human company. He impressed our volunteers with his skills. Bowzer knows how to sit, stay and shake when requested. Given his training, we assume he is housebroken too. Bowzer was a little shy during his first visit to the shelter's playgroups, for now, we are recommending he be a solo dog or live with another calm dog who doesn't want to get too rowdy. Bowzer has a nicely balanced energy level, he will want to join you on all of your adventures and come home to have a nice snooze. We think Bowzer is an all-around awesome dog. With his wonky ears and gorgeous green eyes, Bowzer is a serious head-turner, too. Bowzer will be a fantastic best friend in a fun-loving home. 📸: @lauripiper @hu.ena AT
