He's got sweet energy and look how happy he is after having some fun in the PLAYGROUP! and he needs some help. Please SHARE for a FOSTER or ADOPTER to give him a new home. Thanks! 💕 ASSESSMENT Max was standing at the front of the kennel whining when the runner approached. He had a loose body/ tail, anxiously climbing at the kennel while barking, he had a hard stare towards the runner and had a closed mouth as the runner went to open the kennel door. He sniffed the runners hand and went back to whining. He was easy to leash, came out on his own. Greets dogs with a high tail and then walks away. Slightly pulls, but when he feels tension, he walks back to the runner. He walked nicely just in front of the runner and did not have any issues on his way to the catch pen. He was easy to collar because he was distracted by all the other dogs and the smells in the yard. He was let into the play yard where he was greeted by the dogs and started to play right away with one of the more high energy dogs. He greeted the other dogs whenever he could, but would get nudged by the high energy dog and would go back to playing. He ignored the dog after a little while and began to explore the yard. He kept to himself for most of the time, but had spurts of play as well. I have been at the shelter since May 04, 2020.
