NEEDS ASSESSMENT
B-MOD HANDLING Eval Comments: She was extremely fearful in the kennel, pressed up against the back wall, trembling, with concerned eyes and ears back. The handler knelt at the gate and coaxed her. She would not approach. The handler entered the kennel and kneeled at the threshold, she frantically pawed at the side walls looking for an exit as she paced. She dodged the leash a few times before the handler got it on her. Once it was on, she pressed her body against the rear wall and started peeing. She started biting at the leash, growling, and flailing when the handler tried to exit her out of the kennel. The handler tried to rope muzzle her, she flailed and would not let the handler pick her up with a rope muzzle on. The handler did her handling in kennel. She tried to coax her over, but she would not approach. Pallet sat in the comer trembling with concemed eyes while the handler examined her. She allowed the handler to check her teeth and ears. When she touched her front paws, Pallet pushed them
down, had hard eyes and started growling. When she lifted her pack paw, she spun around, sat down, and started peeing. When the handler touched her tail, she spun around with a closed mouth and started growing. Due to her handling
sensitivity in the care center, she is designated as RESCUE ONLY
