My name is Knuckles and I am an unaltered male, brown Pit Bull Terrier. Shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Feb 24, 2025. Knuckles was brought in the facility as a stray. Upon pickup the ACO decided to pepper spray the dog in the eyes, and yet we wonder why these dogs are scared. Knuckles eyes were irritated upon intake due to being pepper sprayed by Animal Control. They tried to rinse his eyes, he obviously was fearful and upset and growled. Rightfully so, they just mased the dog and expect it to be fine.
