He was at the gate with a high tail, hackles raised, barking, jumping up on the gate when the runner approached the kennel. The runner put a hand against the gate, he scrunched up his nose and pushed against the fence barking. The runner opened the kennel gate, knelt as he tried to dash through the door, and was able to put his hand on his chest to stop him from dashing out. The runner easily slipped the leash over his head. He pulled hard towards other dogs on leash walking to the catch pen. He entered the pen with his hackles up and growling at the fence that had the dogs on the other side. The runner easily collared him and placed a muzzle on him. He was walked in on a long, loose leash. He was walked up to a female shepherd. He had a soft body and a neutral tail. The female snapped at him, and he took the correction. She was walked away, and a male shepherd was walked up to him. He had a soft body and a neutral tail. His muzzle was removed and walked back up the male shepherd. He was not interested in greeting him and instead roamed the yard and sought out affection from the handlers. He was tolerant of the dogs in the yard but was not interested in them. He was then walked out for a handling assessment. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, ADULTS (REQ), CALM DOGS (REC), MEDIUM ENERGY
