Meet Kaiser Keller
A Gentle Soul Looking for a Safe Haven 💛
Kaiserkeller is a sweet, sensitive pup who?s learning that the world isn?t so scary after all.
This quiet guy is looking for a calm, patient home where he can continue to build trust at his own pace.
🐕KaiserKeller can be very nervous and sometimes tuck his tail.
He likes gentle guidance with a leash.
The noisy kennel was a bit too much for Kaiser, so he took a quieter route through the parking lot.
💪He handled it bravely and without panic.
Once outside, he was easy to collar and stayed calm despite his nerves.
🌳 In the yard, Kaiser met other dogs with neutral, soft body language, but overall
But likes to quietly explore on his own
Kaiser Keller is a mellow, low-energy boy who doesn?t have a defined playstyle yet.
But he?s tolerant, kind, and just needs time to come out of his shell
🏡 Ideal Home:
A calm, patient household where Kaiser can feel safe and secure.
A quiet environment and perhaps a gentle canine friend could help him continue to blossom. 💫
🐾 This tender-hearted boy is ready for someone to show him the love and safety he deserves.
Kaiser Keller is waiting for you.
Available for adoption now ? come meet him and make his world a little brighter!

ASSESSMENT
DOWNEY

Kaiser Keller was lying down at the back of the kennel when the runner approached. He stood up with a tense and trembling
body, wide eyes with dilated pupils, and a tucked tail. He would not approach the runner, but the runner was able to gently
toss the leash over his head. He began flailing on leash, but the runner was able to gently coax him out of the kennel. He
did not want to walk through the loud kennel environment, so the runner walked him through the parking lot. He walked
slowly behind the runner, and required some pressure on leash, but was no longer panicking. He was easy to collar. In the
catch pen, his body was tense and trembling, his tail was tucked, and her panted heavily. He entered the yard, and greeted
the other dogs with a neutral body, soft eyes, low tail, and a heavy pant. He roamed the yard, keeping to himself as much as
possible. He slowly began to solicit petting from the handlers, but was still uncomfortable with handling. He maintained a
quiet demeanor, and did not engage in play with the other dogs. However, he was able to coexist in the yard with no issues.
Kaiser Keller is tolerant of the other dogs, has a low energy level, and does not have a playstyle at this time.

HANDLING
DOWNEY
A5683874
Kaiser Keller was already in the yard when the handler decided to begin the handling assessment. He was moved to the side
yard and given a few moments to decompress before the handler entered the yard. He slowly approached the handler with a
lowered head, concerned eyes, a closed mouth, and a low tail. The handler moved slowly, and was able to pet his whole
body with no issues. His body remained slightly tense, but he was easy to handle. When the assessment was over, he
followed the handler around the yard and allowed her to continue petting him.
