Jax was recently surrendered by the only person he had ever known. Now, he finds himself alone in an unfamiliar place? hidden away from the public in a kennel, overwhelmed with confusion and fear. His world has changed overnight, and he's struggling to adjust. Jax is not thriving in the shelter environment, and it?s clear he's deeply affected by this sudden change. To put it blunt, he is angry. Because of a past bite incident reported by his previous owner, Jax was immediately placed on the euthanasia list. That history now making it difficult for him to find someone willing to see beyond the label.
He's a dog in need of patience, structure, and someone willing to understand him.
His time is limited, but we believe in second chances. We believe Jax deserves one, too.
