It took a moment for the runner to loop leash him, due to him moving around a lot in excitement. He walked to the play yard with a moderate pull. He entered the catch pen with soft eyes and a neutral tail wag. He exchanged soft greetings with the other dogs through the play yard fence. He was easily collared by the runner. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a female shepherd and became tense. He had a high tail and hackles raised, but he remained tolerant of her sniffing him. He was then approached by a male shepherd and displayed the same behavior. He began to calmly roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. After a short time, he appeared to relax a lot and began to exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. He approached a male shepherd and offered him a play bow. He retumed the play bow and they engaged in entle/dainty play: He remained playful and social for the rest of his time in the yard. He would approach the handlers and seek affection. Jay is social with the other dogs and prefers a gentle/dainty play style. Due to prior incidents in the previous home with small animals, he will be designated as no small animals required.
