polgus
Breed:Border Collie (mix breed)
Profile:Large size young adult
male
Additional info: Has shots
Polgus was a little unsure about venturing outside of his cage but quickly warmed up to me. He sat quietly and patiently while I put his leash on. He has a bit of an independent streak but was still quite friendly to me. Polgus seems most easily handled and really enjoyed rolling over for a tummy rub. He also loved being in the play area to run free and just truly enjoy being a dog for a short time. Polgus was very alert to all that was happening around him; he was most interested in all of the sights and sounds outside! He came when I called him, with his tail wagging, for some attention. Polgus is a most handsome guy who would be even more so with a good bubbly bath. He did not show much interest when we met the resident shelter cat and seems like a very sweet dog.
Polgus is good around other dogs even though it may seem like he is always having it out with his kennel neighbor Sugar Ray Robinson; but in actuality, they are just really good friends and loved each other's company.
Polgus is approximately 1 year old and about 38 pounds.
