HI MY NAME IS CHUCKIE. I AM A BIG BOY BUT I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR DOG. I AM SO BIG YOU WILL ONLY NEED ONE.
CHUCKIE IS A ONE YEAR OLD SHEPHERD MIX MALE. HE WEIGHS ABOUT 70-75 POUNDS. HE LOVES TO PLAY BUT HE NEEDS SOMEONE TO TEACH HIM HOW TO PLAY. HE GETS ROUGH AND NIPS A LITTLE TOO HARD. HE CAN BE SETTLED DOWN IF YOU WORK WITH HIM. HE DOES IT FOR ME IN JUST A FEW MINUTES AT THE SHELTER. HE WAS PICKED UP AS A STRAY. HE NEEDS TO BE THE ONLY DOG OR AT LEAST BE SEPARATE UNTIL HE GETS TRAINED.

Do to lack of space, time is limited for dogs at a public shelter. There is a play area at the shelter for you to get to know the dogs and for them to get to know you. they all deserve a good home.
Shelter hours are 9-4 weekdays and 9-2 weekends.
Directions to the shelter-From freeway 99 take Cecil ave exit-exit 57-, Drive 1.8 miles west on Cecil Ave, turn left on Mettler Ave and the shelter is on the right side of the street.
