REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION -- Must be over 18 years old; Must show a valid, photo ID; Must be willing to make the dog part of the family (no dogs will be adopted out as yard or guard dogs).
Some dogs, depending upon breed, disposition, or past behavioral history, may require a home check.
YOUR NEW COMPANION WILL COME WITH THE FOLLOWING --
Certification of surgical sterilization (will be spayed/neutered); preliminary vaccinations; Ventura County license; Trovan microchip - already "installed" for permanent identification; certificate for a free health exam at any veterinarian's office in Ventura County.
COST OF ADOPTION -- In County adoption $125; Out of County adoption $105 - license charge not included.
ADOPTION HOURS -- Monday 10 am to 7 pm; Tuesday CLOSED; Wednesday 12 pm to 7 pm; Thursday & Friday 3 pm to 7pm; Saturday & Sunday 9 am to 4 pm *** We stop showing the dogs one half hour prior to closing ***
