A4973254 Howie is an opinionated 10-year-old tricolor (black, goldl, white) male Corgi and Spitz mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on July 17th as a stray from Baldwin Park. Weighing 14 lbs, Howie is a strikingly good-looking dog with his multicolored coat (which could use a good bath and comb out), foxy face, and a unique protrusion of his two lower canines that kept us all transfixed. He is very unhappy to find himself in the shelter, and he let us know by doing a low growl when he was frightened. However, he?s not aggressive and likes having his head and chest scratched, which calms him and makes him forget his troubles. He?s good with other dogs and walks well on leash. Howie deserves a forever home where he can spend his golden years as an inside pet and family member in comfort and security. In return, this nice old guy will give boundless love.
