A4143470 Coco is an inquisitive 6-year-old white male Chihuahua mix whose owners moved and left him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 6th. Weighing 13 lbs, Coco finds the noisy shelter environment understandably overwhelming, and he is too afraid to walk on a leash. Still, he was eager to cooperate with our volunteers and happily lay in their arms and on their laps, grinning with happiness at the attention. Given how quickly Coco warmed up to new people at our photo shoot, we are confident he will blossom within days once he is back in a home environment where he belongs. He very much enjoys the company of other dogs, and gains confidence being around them, too. Coco will be a loyal and affectionate best friend in a home willing to give him a few days to decompress while he acclimates to his new environment.
