A4984570 Asta is a tender 7-year-old black-and-charcoal Maltese and Miniature Poodle mix (aka Maltipoo) who was found as a stray in Azusa on August 18th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing 8 lbs, Asta is overwhelmed in the noisy shelter environment, but she is entirely agreeable. Asta has an advanced degree in cuddling and will gladly snuggle up with you. With her chocolate eyes and inquisitive face, she is a wonderful listener. She seems to be housebroken, gets along well with other dogs, and we think would do well with kids, too. Asta is currently on cage rest at the shelter, seemingly due to a minor limp that should be evaluated by an outside veterinarian upon adoption.
