A5060714 Popeye is a laid-back 3-year-old caramel-and-white male Pit Bull and Boxer mix who came into the Baldwin Park Animal Care center as stray from Covina on May 14th. Weighing 80 lbs, this gentle giant is as chill as it gets. He is good on leash and seems well socialized, but he looks to have been neglected. Popeye needs to put on a wee bit of weight and could use a good spa day to get the shine back in his coat. He was well behaved and friendly with dogs of all sizes that he met at the Care Center, and he passed his shelter-administered temperament test with flying colors. With a medium energy level and such a sweet disposition, Popeye is a keeper. We think he'll be a great indoor pet and companion for any individual or family that has the time to give him the love and attention he deserves and who'll take him on walks and give him other forms of exercise. Popeye has such a gentle soul that he certainly needs a chance to be in a loving home and have a better life than he's had.
