A5080338 Lil Bit is a pensive and strikingly beautiful 6-year-old black spayed female Schipperke and Australian Cattle Dog mix who entered the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on June 19th as a stray from City of Industry. Weighing 37 lbs, this extraordinary-looking girl is overwhelmed at the shelter, and her response to all the chaos is to keep a low profile. She is good on leash, has (at this time) a low energy, is non-reactive to other dogs (she pays no attention to them, avoiding eye contact, even when they bark at her and try to get her to play), and is tolerant of and patient with just about everything. She's also timid with people but not afraid of them, and she likes being petted and being with a human. We think Lil Bit's good nature is going to shine once she's a valued indoor pet and family member. Then she'll trust, and her confidence and accepting nature will take over.
