A5160720 Timmy is a lovable 1-year-old grey-with-white neutered male Pit Bull mix who was found as a stray in La Puente and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on March 22nd. Weighing 45 lbs, Timmy is an ideal medium-sized dog. He has plenty of get-up-and-go energy, but also will enjoy an evening at home relaxing. He hasn?t had a lot of training yet and can benefit from completion of some obedience work with his adopter. In our shelter?s playgroups, Timmy has been more interested in exploring than playing with other dogs. During an interaction, he was protective of a resource, perhaps a toy or a treat/food with a staff member, because of this, Timmy will fit best in a household with adults and teens who have had dogs previously. Timmy will be a wonderful best buddy in a committed forever home eager to continue training and socializing a teen pup.
