She walked well, next to the runner, on the way to the catch pen. She was timid as she entered with a light body tremble and concemed eyes. She began to relax as the runner coaxed her and showed her affection. The collar was easily clasped around her neck at this time. She entered the yard and spent a few minutes calmly roaming. She exchanged good, brief greetings with several other dogs as she roamed. She solicited affection from the handlers with a loose body and soft eyes, seeming to be more comfortable around them initially. As she gained confidence she was approached by a female shepherd playfully. She accepted her invitation for play and the two chased around the yard for a longtime. She displayed a gentle/ dainty play style and was comfortable with minor physical contact as she played. She also engaged in some chase play with a male shepherd periodically while in the yard. She needs confidence building and further socialization.
