\"The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\" She was resistant to walking on leash and appeared to now be leashed trained. She was tolerant of the runner picking her up and canying her to the play yard. She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by a male Pitbull. She was tolerant of him sniffing her, but she had concerned eyes. She began to roam the yard and explore. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She continued to remain tolerant of dogs approaching her and sniffing her, but she did not retum the greetings. She appeared more comfortable around the very calm dogs. She would create space away from higher energy or playful dogs. She would approach the handlers and seek affection. She would do best with a very calm dog that would respect her space and boundaries. Due to no evidence being provided of the alleged incident and no witnesses, she will remain available for public adoption and just require a known history of aggression disclosure for. She will be designated as no small dogs required, as a precaution to the alleged incident.
