\"The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on swroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\" She would not walk to the play yard and appeared to not be leash trained. She was tolerant of the runner picking her up and canying her to the play yard. She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by two dogs at the same time and exchanged soft greetings with them both. She then began to roam the yard and explore. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs.
She offered a play bow to a male Pitbull and they engaged in gentle/dainty play. She remained playful and social for the rest of her time in the yard. She also climbed into the pool and enjoyed some time i there. Beth is social with the other dogs and prefers a gentle/dainty play style. She needs some confidence bullding and socialization to being on leash.
