He pulled moderately on leash, straight ahead, while walking to the catch pen. He calmly entered the yard, exchanging good greetings with several dogs. He spent several minutes calmly roaming with a male pit bull and female shepherd. He then solicited affection from a handler, shadowing him for several minutes. He continued roaming calmly, exchanging good greetings with each dog he encountered. A female pit bull enticed him for play by pawing at his side and jumping on him.
Duke remained loose and was not bothered by the contact but declined the play attempt. After a few more minutes passed, the female pit bull enticed him for play again. This time Duke accepted the invitation and the two chased around the yard Duke displayed a gentle/dainty play style as he pranced around and lightly pawed at her. He remained social and playful for the rest of his stay in the yard. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, LARGE DOGS OK, MEDIUM ENERGY
