dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\" He walked to the play yard with a light pull on the leash. He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He approached a female Labrador mix and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He then approached a male Pitbull and exchanged a soft greeting with him. He began to roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff
1. He continued to exchange soft greetings when approached by other dogs. He remained social with all the dogs for the rest of his time in the yard. He didn't engage in play, but he was social and displayed no negative reaction to any dog's behavior in the yard. He would approach the handlers often and seek affection. Zeus is social with the other dogs, but he displayed no play style at this time.
