Eval Comments:
? \"The behaviors described to day reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\" He would not walk to the play yard and appeared to not be leash trained. He remained tolerant of the runner picking him up and carrying him to the play yard. He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a male cattle dog. He tolerated him sniffing him, but he had concemed eyes. He began to roam the yard and explore. He would approach the handlers and seek affection. He remained tolerant with the other dogs approaching him and sniffing him, but he appeared more comfortable around the calmer dogs. He would benefit from more socialization with other dogs and some confidence building. He would do best with a calm dog to allow him to gain more confidence. He also needs socialization to walking on a leash. Due to pnor incidents in the previous home, he wil be designated as no cats or livestock required and will require a known history of aggression disclosure fom.
