I am a male, black and brown Belgian Malinois. Shelter staff think I am about 10 months old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 19, 2025. This beautiful sweetheart who was unfortunately brought into SBC as a stray and was never claimed is on the purge list for today due to having a right leg injury, near the hip. This little beautiful sweetheart's stray hold is up today and she is Deadlined the same day. According to the facility her radiographs at the hospital she's experiencing a cranioventral RH hip luxation. Now this precious little hunny needs out today or will be part of the SBC purge. Please consider helping by opening up your heart and home to save a desperate, precious life in need!

The hospital?s radiographs noted that the patient has a
cranioventral RH hip luxation. A closed reduction was
attempted but it was unsuccessful to reduce it back in place.
This patient will need further medical attention and possible
long-term vet care and surgery. We do not have a vet on site,
and the shelter is not a conducive environment for a patient
with special medical needs so we will have to place him on a
medical deadline.
This animal requires follow-up care that exceeds the
resources currently available at our facility. A medical deadline
has been set for placement or humane euthanasia if the
condition deteriorates.
If the patient?s health declines, earlier humane euthanasia may
be considered.
