I am a male, white Maltese. Shelter staff think I am about 6 years old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 22, 2025.
The patient has multiple masses over his entire body. The most notable masses are the one on the top of his head (about 1-5cm hard, ulcerated mass), one on his chest (about 1-6cm hard, mobile mass) and one on his rear (about 1-5cm hard, and liquid filled mass), he may have more masses that we did not discover at this time. He appears to have hair loss on the back side of his body (possible flea allergies). This patient will need immediate further medical exams, possible radiographs and possible surgery and biopsy. Will start on medication per protocol. This animal requires follow-up care that exceeds the resources currently available at our facility. A medical deadline has been set for placement or humane euthanasia if the condition deteriorates. If the patient?s health declines, earlier humane euthanasia may be considered
