My name is Ghost and I am an unaltered male, white Pit Bull Terrier. Shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 21, 2025. Ghost was unfortunately brought into SBC as a stray who was never claimed. This poor sweetheart is plagued with horrible notes. Supposedly according to his notes he charged the ACO officer and then changed the gate at the facility. They then catchpoled him as he bit the pole and did alligator rolls to try as a last attempt to get away. Unfortunately this poor boy was thrown back into isolation where he is in desperate need of being seen since he's out of the public eye. Would anyone be willing to foster or adopt. These dogs just need a chance to thrive outside of this facility, obviously he was not trusting these people for a good reason. Please consider opening up your heart and home to save a precious life in desperate need.

Dog was standing at the kennel gate as staff approached, barking and growling, tail flagging. When staff knelt
and turned sideways, dog continued barking. Staff slowly presented a hand to sniff and dog sniffed staff's hand
before growing stiff and barking again.
Due to severe handling concerns and aggressive behavior exhibited, we are seeking rescue intervention for this
dog by 9/5/25 at 2PM. CMM
