Eval Comments:
\"The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on swroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
He walked to the play yard with a light pull on the leash. He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a female husky and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He wa: then approached by a male Labrador and exchanged a soft greeting with him. He began to calmly roam the yard and explore. | He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings when other dogs approached him. He remained calm and social for the rest of his time in the yard. There were dogs playing during his time in the yard, but he did not engage or try to entice any play. He would approach the handlers and seek affection. He also climbed into the pool and enjoyed some time m there. Bear is social with the other dogs, but he displayed no play style at this time and would ikely do best with a calm dog. Due to pror incidents in the previous home, he will be designated as no cats required and will require a known history of aggression disclosure form.
